TRIP FAQs

Is the trip just skiing or can i snowboard on it?

The trip is open to both skiers and boarders. There are hire options for both available

How much spending money do I need to take?

This can vary depending on how much you wish to spend. In the past we've had members spend less than €100 and some who have spent much more. We do a stop at a supermarket on the way into resort where you can purchase all of your food and drink for the week at much lower prices than it is in the resort.

Do I have to be up early to ski?

Its completely up to you. Being a ski in/ski out resort, you can choose to ski at whichever times you wish to (if the lifts are open). Most members are up for first lift as there is no better cure for a hangover than the fresh mountain air.

Do you have to know how to ski?

No. There are lessons available whilst we are there however we advise you utilise our training sessions at Stoke beforehand so that you can save money and utilise your time here fully.

Do I have to go out with the society every night?

No. We have social themed nights which are always among the highlights of the trip. However, these are optional. This is your trip and so you are free to do as you please. Whether that be quiet drinks in a bar, a meal in a restaurant or simply just a night in.
