1. Save tinned food up as the year goes - This means that you don’t have to spend much money on food on the trip, and you can cook what you want in your rooms.

2. Take sandwiches up the mountain instead of buying mountain food – If you don’t go to the right places mountain food can get expensive, make sandwiches to save yourself some money!

3.Take advantage of all the discounts you can get around Chester by being a UOC snow member- We have discounts at sail and ski and also franky's fancy dress in town and many more online! Take advantage of them!

4. Come to our training sessions - We have cheap training sessions that we run once a week, get involved and take advantage of them, so that you can get the most of your time on the slopes.

5. Get some of merchandise - Our society merchandise is a lot cheaper than the branded gear! Get in touch with one of the committee to grab yourself some of our stuff.

6. Put money away monthly - Save little bits of money back each month so you can start paying it off bit by bit instead of a paying it all at the very end.

7. Go to the bank of mum and dad - Explain to them it will enhance your employability and they will be throwing the money at you.

8. The trip is just before Christmas - Why dont you ask Santa or that distant aunty for some money towards it.
