New Committee for September 2014 Decided
Our 2014 AGM saw fierce competition amoungst new committee try-out's. Impressively, Owen won the role of President without a speech... I guess silence really can do more than words. Sam, as expected, managed to gain the role of Vice president and Cush managed to secure Social Sec for another year of fancy dress and drinking. Emma, unsurprisingly, won the new role of Race Captain for 2014 with her vast junior racing background.
The fiercest compeition arose between two titans of the snowsports world. Passionate piste basher Will Jordan and trench-laying accountant Chris Hill. Both competed for the roles of Communications officer/Treasurer and the new role of Freestyle Captain. In the end, only one position was available for each role... After a passionate speech from Will declaring his love for all things snow and an impressive speech from Chris about his £7million yacht sale, votes were counted. Fortunatley both obtained a position, with Chris achieving the role of communications Officer and treasure, whilst Will safely secured the role of Freestyle Captain for next year.Congratulations to the New Committee.
